*Overview* We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Deckhand to join our team. As a Deckhand, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our vessel. This position requires a commitment to safety, teamwork, and maintaining the integrity of our equipment and environment. Pay is based on percentage of the catch. The vessel is a dry boat, no drugs or alcohol Is permitted onboard. *Responsibilities* * Assist in the safe operation of the vessel, including handling lines and rigging during docking and undocking procedures. * Maintain cleanliness and organization of the deck area, ensuring compliance with safety and food safe regulations. * Participate in safety drills and training sessions to enhance emergency preparedness. * Collaborate with crew members to ensure efficient operations during voyages and dockings. *Skills* * Interact positively with crew. * Ability to work effectively as part of a team in a fast-paced marine environment. * Excellent communication skills for clear interaction with crew members and passengers alike. * No prior fishing experience required. This position is ideal for a young individual interested in working outdoors and exploring coastal BC.
