With a strong foundation in delivering high-quality projects, we are currently seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Project Manager and an Estimator to join our team. This role presents an exciting opportunity for an individual with a passion for accuracy and a keen understanding of construction.
*Position Overview:* We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Construction Estimator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in estimating and a keen eye for accuracy. You will play a critical role in evaluating project costs, preparing detailed estimates, and helping us win new business by providing reliable and competitive pricing.
*Key Responsibilities:*
* Analyze project plans, specifications, and other documents to prepare comprehensive cost estimates.
* Develop detailed cost breakdowns and pricing for labor, materials, equipment, and subcontractors.
* Review and interpret construction documents and blueprints.
* Obtain and evaluate subcontractor and supplier quotes.
* Identify potential risks and opportunities that could affect project costs.
* Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and architects to ensure accuracy and feasibility of estimates.
* Prepare and present detailed estimates to clients and internal stakeholders.
* Maintain and update estimating databases and cost libraries.
* Stay current with industry trends, standards, and regulations.
*Skills:*
- Strong knowledge of construction processes and techniques
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Experience with construction estimating and budgeting
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics
- Familiarity with software such as Bluebeam for document management
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with team members, clients, and stakeholders
- Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
*Qualifications:*
- Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience as an Estimator in commercial construction projects.
- In-depth knowledge of commercial construction processes, materials, and industry best practices.
- Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage multiple commercial estimates/budgets concurrently.
- Proficient in project management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $70,000.00-$100,000.00 per year
