The new Fort St. James hospital is now open for patients. The facility is three times larger than the previous hospital and has an expanded emergency department. The $158M project was primarily funded by the Government of British Columbia with nearly $140M provided by the Province through Northern Health and over $18M contributed by the Stuart-Nechako Regional Hospital District.
